The 2008 AHR EXPO® shattered several records. The 2008 AHR EXPO set several all-time records for the number of registered attendees (39, 298), international attendees (6,778) and countries represented (132). Records for a Northeast HVAC&R event were also set with total number of attendees (59,122), number of exhibitors (1,885) and square footage of exhibit space (363, 505) at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York, January 22-24, 2008

The 2008 AHR EXPO® Innovation Award winners were honored at a special presentation on Tuesday, January 22 in the New Product Technology Theatre. The winners and award presenters are (L to R):

An anxious crowd of attendees from more than 132 countries around the world line up to enter the 60th edition of the 2008 AHR EXPO® at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York, January 22-24, 2008. A record number of visitors attended the largest event of its kind in the world. Several new all-time records were established including the number of registered attendees (39, 298), international attendees (6,778) and countries represented (132). The Show also set new records for a Northeast HVAC&R event with total number of attendees (59,122), number of exhibitors (1,885) and square footage of exhibit space (363, 505).

Contractors, engineers, dealers, distributors, wholesalers, OEMs, architects and builders, industrial plant operators, facility owners and managers, agents and representatives from around the world kept booth activity high and aisles crowded during of the 60th edition of the AHR EXPO® at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York, January 22-24, 2008.

Exhibitors were pleased with the quality and quantity of attendees at the 60th edition of the AHR EXPO® at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York, January 22-24, 2008. According to exhibitor Mike Ruff, C.O.O. and Senior Vice President of Intellidyne, “This Show was a home run. We exhibit at many shows, which included previous AHR EXPOs, and the traffic in New York was 10 times better than any other show I’ve been to.”

As the largest event of its kind in the world, the 60th edition of the AHR EXPO® was held at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York, January 22-24, 2008. The 2009 AHR EXPO will be January 26-28, 2009 and moves to Chicago, Illinois at McCormick Place.
