Image Twenty-One: These toy cars are the product of an in-mold assembly and decorating system developed by Electroform and show in operation at NPE2009 on an Allrounder press, with Arburg robotics, at the Arburg booth. The companies worked together to integrate the production cell. Electroform say the cycle time is under 12 second. In that time the system produces six separate parts for the car, assembles them, and applies the decorative film.
