Image Twenty-Eight: Maria del Pilar Noriega, PhD., accepts the People’s Choice award in the International Plastics Design Competition (IPDC) from Kevin Brady, chairman of the IPDC. The winning entry was a Prepaid Energy Meter from Excelec & Cia. The only award based on votes cast online instead of by a panel of judges, it received the largest share of the 10,203 votes cast.
