More than five hundred people from the plastics industry, along with local and state Florida dignitaries, attended the NPE2012 Opening Gala on Sunday evening. The event included a keynote address by Jon Huntsman, Jr., a celebration of the 74th anniversary of SPI, the induction of ten living members of the Plastics Hall of Fame, and special honorary awards by the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE).
